This topic is something which struck my head today so I wanted to write about it. I am writing my own experiences here. After going through so much in my life after my marriage of 12 years has molded me and has even taught me a few harsh lessons which I was never aware of when I was single living my life blissfully with my parents. My realizations and my thinking have changed as I am maturing as a person and I have realized that the first person who is important in my life is me “Myself” because if I am not happy from inside how can others around me be happy?

This a topic which came to my mind very randomly. I face problem in my daily life where I actually get fed up explaining people Who I am? Why am I doing something? And just leave me and let me experiment with what I believe in. I can very well understand it is not just my problem or your problem but everyone else’s problem. We sometimes get fed up explaining our point of view to those around us and they keep on giving the same advice. This happens when you want to do something which no one has done in the family or no one in the friend circle has heard of it before.
The meaning of success is different to different people. A person can taste success after winning a school race while others feel success only after winning Olympics, so the very definition of success is different for everyone. A housewife feels successful after making the best recipe from a recipe book. Entrepreneurs feel successful after creating a big global enterprise, so success carries different meaning for different person. Success is directly attached to goals. The goals which you set for your career, family and your personal life. Once you achieve those you feel successful.
I got an opportunity to conduct training program on Women Empowerment for ladies of JCI Umred coal Power. My audience comprised of housewives. Some of them were in the age group of 30 – 40 and rest were above 50 years. After the inaugural session they were giving me a blank look and were wondering what I will be training them about. I knew it would be a tough job to motivate them and communicate my thoughts to them but i took the challenge and started the training.
I got an opportunity to conduct training program at JCI Durg/ Bhilai on “Be Better”. I was appointed as the Pilot Faculty for MCID (Multi Chapter ID Program) along with two co-pilots Sandeep ji and Ekta ji. The program concentrated on Managing Self, Family, Profession and Social life of a person. The program was on how to better ourselves in each aspect of our life by upgrading our skills everyday or in other terms getting better each day.

The buzzword is manage time, but can we manage time. We just have 24 hours in a day and we cannot create more time for ourselves. We have to discipline ourselves to manage our life so that we run on time. It is more of self management than time management. Daily work can simply be tiring but if we know how to distribute our time to all the work, life will be more joyous and less stressful. We concentrate more on unnecessary stuffs than useful ones. That is the reason most people run short of time.
All of us fight for the social cause but few of us raise the issue and take the movement forward. On the Eve of 'Trainers day'' we the trainers of Junior Chamber International conducted training program on Social Responsibility on 10th September 2010. Objective of the training was to make every member aware of his social responsibilities towards self, family, society, chapter and country. I took training in JCI Nagpur Central. It was really a great session interacting with the audience. They participated very well.
Father's day is arriving on 20th June 2010. As we celebrate woman's day we also celebrate father's day. There are few questions which arise in mind. Why do we celebrate father's Day ? Is there any comparison between the work done by father and mother ? Mom manages home and all needs of children but dad only works at office and earns for the family, then why due credit should be given to a father. Now a days with changing lifestyle and nuclear family culture its really difficult to rear a baby if both parents are working and there is no one at home to look after the baby.
