Every person wants to be successful but then success has its own guidelines and principles. You have to think and act. Just thinking will not do and acting without thinking will never make things possible. Others guidelines for success may or may not fit you. So what to do? Read other people’s success stories but think and act differently. Your path and goals are different so your journey will also be different. The time gap and market changes will all play a big role so you cannot copy. Use your brain and always think before acting. I have seen people implementing all the principles and still finding it difficult to make a breakthrough. The success principles are there to guide you. You have to apply your brain and carve your own path. No one can think and act for you. It is you yourself who has to do it. A mentor will show you the way but will never walk the way for you. It is your journey and you have to travel yourself. No one else can travel for you. You have to take risks, make decisions. Learn from mistakes and move on and on till you reach your destination called success and start on a new journey for another achievement.
Many of us just work on pen and paper and by the time the real time to act comes, we come to know that the idea is obsolete. You should take the time to think and then act but the time gap between thinking and acting should be such that your idea has relevance with the market. If you have a plan and think it will be successful. Start off. Just take one step at a time. You cannot plan your entire journey at the start nor you will know your destination at the start. Move on and do what is necessary at each and every step. You will see that your destination will get clearer and clearer. It is never a straight journey. There will be various obstacles which will come your way and you have to handle them one by one with a composed mind. You will see you will get better at decision-making and problem-solving. As you move close to the ladder of success you will feel a new person within you who is different than what you were 2 to 3 years ago.
Be focused as to what you want to achieve and draw the roadmap accordingly. That way you know your expectations better and you will plan accordingly. Two people cannot have the same focus so don’t get burdened by other people's opinion. You do what you need to do in a right way. Never follow a shortcut because that will make your journey longer. There are no shortcuts to success. You need to think and act in a proper way to achieve your goals. You need to traverse a particular road so that you reach your final destination. You will need to learn lessons in your path to success and you will only learn them when you follow a proper path and not a shortcut. If at all you achieve success by shortcut remember it will be for a very short period of time because without learning your lessons right it will get difficult for you to hold on the success longer.
People who have persevered and have toiled harder are the ones who occupy a top notch position and hold on to success for a longer period of time. There are so many intrinsic qualities you acquire on your way to your goal that it is not visible from outside. To others, you may seem to be the same person but you are different from inside. You have learnt so much in your journey that you know what to do and what not to do for attaining success in life. You can even suggest other people. It is not the age which matters. What matters is the experience you gain. I have heard people saying see that man got successful at a very early age but what others don’t know is when others were doing something else that particular person was focused in reaching his goals.
People will give and has always given an opinion. Listen patiently to them but you think and act to achieve your desired destination.
