While i was going through the pages of Readers Digest i came across a live story of a Plane crash. It really moved me and brought tears to my eyes. A newly married couple ( Wife – Monica, Husband – Williams ) decided to go for Honeymoon in Jungle as that would be a calm place surrounded by nature. They boarded the plane and with them a couple with 3 children's and many other passengers were traveling and going to the same place. This small forest type tourist place was situated in the middle of big forest.
The journey was going smooth. Air Hostesses were taking care of passengers and serving them with food, snacks, tea and coffee. The passengers were busy discussing their life and watching the Mother nature outside. A girl was busy drinking coffee and applying Lipstick. She was very busy with her make up and she drew attention of everyone
They were in the middle of the route when heavy rains started falling along with Hail stones ( About the size of Marble ). The Pilot lost control of the plane and tried landing the plane in the nearest Airport. The plane was shaking a lot and the windows were becoming noisy. The situation worsened when the pilot couldn't see outside due to bad weather and hail stones were falling like small bombs trying to penetrate inside.
An emergency was declared and every passenger was instructed to remain cool and calm and not make noise. The pilot lost full control of the plane and the plane crashed in the middle of forest breaking in to two halves. The broken halves caught fire. Everyone tried to escape as the fire was spreading in all directions and if they couldn't get out in 5 – 10 minutes they would blast along with the plane. There was a lot of fire near all safety exits. The passengers tried to move out one by one. Williams jumped out and helped live passengers in moving out. He saved his wife too and burned his hands. He asked them to keep moving and move fast or all will be dead. The planed had crashed in a swampy land and they couldn't move fast and were covered with mud up to the waist.
A small child was crying and she was half burnt Williams herd the cry and went to save that small child. He held the baby in his arms and joined the group. They Kept moving and reached a mountain. They climbed up and saw rescues reaching them. They were taken to Hospital and those dead their bodies were collected for keeping in morgue.
Thus we see how in difficult situations we can help each other and maintain our calm. Wiliams helped them not fearing his own death which could have happened if the plane would have exploded or poisoning caused by harmful gases of plane.
