Grocery Donation at Panchwati Ashram
JCI Nagpur Green City extended a helping hand to inmates of Panchwati Ashram by donating groceries to them recently.
Panchwati Ashram is an old age home, located at Umred Road, Nagpur. It was founded in 1961 as a unit of city based Matru Seva Sangh. It is currently home to 80 aged inmates of which 63 are women and 17 are men.
Community team of JC Anoop Banode, Vinay Yadav and Bhupendra Jais, under the leadership of President JC Rajesh Londe first got in touch with the authorities at Ashram few days back and inquired about the problems faced by inmates, and about daily needed items in short
supply with them.
Rashmi Priya, CEO of VinayRas Infotech happily agreed to contribute to this noble cause by sponsoring the cost for groceries. She along with the JC Community Opportunity team then visited the Ashram on 11th
march and donated groceries and daily needed items like Sugar, Dhaniya Powder, Tea, Chilli Powder, Haldi Powder, Biscuits etc. All the inmates and authorities expressed their gratefulness to JCI Nagpur Green City for coming out to help them in this way.
