Jc Vasudev Ramtekkar ji, Zone director Growth & Development gave me a great opportunity to conduct training program on “Effective Public Speaking“ at JCI Amgaon on 3rd April 2011. Jc Ashish Dubey ji, member JCI Amgaon came to receive me at the railway station. Jc Vasudev ji accompanied me to the venue and the program started. Great preparation by the host chapter for the event. I could see an LCD projector and a banner carrying my name. I was really touched. A new chapter ready with all facilities was really amazing. I was touched by their hospitality. The Effective Public Speaking training session started with introduction round where every member had to introduce their partner. I could see a successful speaker in every participant. They just needed to work on their gesture, posture & voice modulation.
Audience participated very well and sometimes even came out with funny examples. The audience comprised of Zila parishad netas, sarpanch, and entrepreneurs. Majority of audience were above the age of 40. Much older to me. They were all prepared and ready to learn, i was amazed to see such a learning spirit in this age group. They were all successful in their fields but turned in to students when inside the training hall and maintained every decorum of a class. I was astonished to see such a positive outlook. I could see my success in their eyes at the end of the session. I really felt proud to have interacted with such an amazing audience.
