What is invisible disability ? It is something which is not visible to the normal eye but yet the person is suffering. It may be chronic pain, Mental illness, Sleep disorder, Chronic Fatigue, back pain or Chronic dizziness. It is not visible and the person is perceived to be normal. Now the question arises should the person disclose his disability and let others know to get support. He may or may not be welcomed.
Lots of employees suffer from invisible disability which is not known to the employer. Employees are reluctant to share information as they may be perceived as less efficient. The problem is a person is suffering and this hampers his efficiency and concentration at work. They may be fired without any reason. They will not get good performance appraisal and are less likely to be promoted. Such type of employees can seek for help so that the employer makes arrangements for them and make them comfortable in the new environment. The perception needs to be changed so that a person with invisible disability is accepted by the society.

People with invisible disability should seek help and look for all favorable options so that they can work properly and live a satisfied life. Now a days Organizations are more flexible and ready to help an employee suffering from invisible disability if he is willing to learn, work hard and prove as a productive employee.
