I was changing channels few days back when i saw the advertisement of Horlicks Foodles. Thought for a while what is this foodles ? I have heard of noodles but it was the first time i heard of foodles. Then the advertisement began, how nutritious it is and can easily replace a meal. Oh god this was noodles only the “N” has been replaced with the “F”. Horlicks is a product of GlaxoSmithKline and all its product starting from Junior Horlicks, Mother's Horlicks and biscuits are very famous. Then why it thought of venturing in to noodles where maggie captures a big share of the market.
Maggie is product of Nestle and it has got hold of fast food market since long. Top Raman is not that famous with the masses as maggie is. Market is flooded with lots of brands of noodles but its only maggie which occupies the largest shelf space in a kirana shop or super market. Nestle is very successful with Maggie 2 minute noodles. It really tastes great. When you talk of noodles its only maggie which i can remember. You ask any person to purchase noodles and he is sure to end up buying maggie. Thats how we associate with noodles, its just maggie – maggie and maggie. I really don't know why Horlicks wanted to experiment with this noodles market by converting it in to foodles.
I am really a big fan of maggie. I and my daughter both enjoy eating maggie. I will try to experiment with Horlicks foodle once but i will never change my brand. It really does not matter which noodles carries more nutrition and health benefits, what matters at last is that the whole human population should be ready to experiment and many should be ready to convert then only foodles will survive or there will be only one leader that is “N” and not “F”. Yeah you got it right Maggie Noodles.
